sponsors and policies

how i work with sponsors:

Typically, the only sponsorships I take are for integrated advertisements within a video. While I don't strictly adhere to working only with brands I personally use, I do make an effort to collaborate with those whose products or services I've tested for a reasonable duration. However, there are instances where this isn't feasible, such as with Southern New Hampshire University.

During sponsored segments, sponsors pay for the time and expect their key points to be highlighted. Despite this, any opinions I express are entirely my own.

On occasion, I may feature fully sponsored videos. My criteria for these collaborations include providing significant value to a segment of my audience and securing creative control from the sponsor. I WILL NEVER do sponsored reviews. I find them counterintuitive and harmful to consumers. Before reviewing a product or incorporating it into my content, I ensure that my thoughts remain independent, and the brand exerts no editorial influence.

Transparency is paramount to me, and I always disclose sponsorships within my videos or segments. If you suspect an undisclosed sponsorship or have concerns about a sponsor, please don't hesitate to use the form below to get in touch.

sponsors I’ve worked with

This is a list of all the sponsors I've worked with, along with whether or not I use their product or service and any issues or thoughts I have on it.

aranet

do I use it: I received an aranet4 for an integrated advertisement and it currently is in use in my office. I haven’t yet had a need to buy another.

aura

do I use it: yes! I currently use it primarily for data broker removals and fraud monitoring.

bambu lab

do I use it: yes, I use my A1 mini a lot. I was sent it for free as part of bambu lab’s partner program. That being said, I’m a huge fan and am currently saving up to buy a P1S.

flexispot

do I use it: yes, I use a flexispot desk in my office that I received for an integration. However I also use a flexispot chair that I bought around 6 months before I ever worked with them. I’ve always found their products to be solid and affordable.

hellofresh

do I use it: yes, but not as frequently as before. to have a bit more time in the evenings, we’ve also started using factor. We still use hello fresh around 1-2 times a month though.

magic mind

do I use it: not currently. I liked it but it is a bit too expensive for me.

magic spoon

do I use it: not currently, no. I will say that I typically have trouble with sugar free and similar alternative products, but I found magic spoon to taste a lot better to me. That being said, my wife isn’t a fan. We don’t eat a ton of cereal, so it just isn’t worth buying magic spoon just for me.

manscaped

do I use it: yes! I love the beard trimmer and weed whacker and use them both in my regular routine. I won’t go into too much detail about the lawn mower lineup, but I do recommend them. I received most of my manscaped products for free for use in integrations, but I pay for replacement blades when needed.

nordpass

do I use it: no. I didn’t have issues with the service, but I’m not a fan of some of Nord’s marketing practices, so I won’t be working with them unless those are fixed.

notion

do I use it: yep! I still use notion to write all my scripts and keep track of all my projects

skillshare

do I use it: I did when I had a free trial. I liked it at first, but found that while some courses were great, many were fairly low quality, and the topics were somewhat limited. Because I don’t care for the service after spending more time with it, I won’t be working with Skillshare in the future.

southern new hampshire university

do I use it: well no, I don’t plan to go back to college any time soon.

squarespace

do I use it: well you’re here aren’t you haha? Yes, I use squarespace for this website because it’s simple and easy. I was offered a free trial for the advertisements, but had already been paying before that.

ugreen

do I use it: i’ve used a variety of UGreen products. Their cables and adapters were typically a go-to because I had always had a good experience with them. I use a few of the chargers and adapters that they have sent for advertisements. I was sent a dxp4800+ NAS for review without any payment.

world of warships

do I use it: no, but to be fair I barely have time to play games. I found it to be somewhat fun though, especially with it being free to play.
